ABSTRACT

 Within the Dow Chemical Company a variety of heterogeneous and homogeneous catalyzed processes are commercially practiced. In the area of homogeneous catalyzed reactions Dow is an industry leader in utilizing homogeneous-based systems. Examples include the use of homogeneous catalysts for hydroformylation and olefin polymerization. In this presentation various aspects involving the development of homogeneous olefin polymerization catalysts will be discussed.
